Energy Panel

Identifying policy issues applicable to the energy sector and providing guidance to IET members, government and the public.

The Energy Sector Panel (ESP) is a high-level advisory body established to address matters of policy and public concern relating to the energy sector on behalf of the IET, and to advance the IET's policy positions through a range of channels including position statements, written submissions, stakeholder management plans and media communications.

The panel's composition is drawn from senior members of the IET and influential representatives of the engineering profession in the power sector.

It is one of eight sector panels established by the IET policy department.
